The house

In its typical Charente style, the house dates back to the 18th century. At that time, it was a simple farmhouse, which has been altered and enlarged in the course of its history. The building was constructed using « moellons », the local quarry limestone and are laid out in a U-shape to form a magnificent entirety, in the middle of which the ancient lime tree occupies a place of honour.
